Word Up!

The Design Team Girls & I have been busy behind the scenes working on a new idea ... & we think you are going to like it! It all came about around a month ago when I asked them what they most needed from their DT kits - the bits they can't live without & the bits of which they need a bigger selection. The answer all around was embellies ... but more than that, a wide selection of 'stuff' rather than lots of the same thing. So I spoke the the ladies in my class & would you believe ... the same answer. It seems that maybe we don't always want a dozen of the same pins, charms or whatever but a wide selection of 'tasters'.
Well, being one who likes to give 'em what they want ... & always up to the challenge ... here is the first 'ScrapJunkie Embellishment Kit'. And yes, if you have been with me since the beginning of the Crop 'Til You Drop journey you will notice that we have revived the ScrapJunkie kit name (was deliberating over what to call the kit & DS4 said ... revive ScrapJunkie, it was a good name then & it's a good name now ... duh! why didn't I think of that!)

We are very excited about this new monthly kit, which will launch on Friday (August 1st) as a limited edition, & the first release is a wordy affair. Just take a look at that sneak peek. Metal words, tickets, journaling spots, printed ribbons, tags, banners, alpha stickers, coasters, die cut alphas and more. And the manufacturers? How about Maya Road, Tim Holtz, Basic Grey, American Crafts, Cloud 9 Design? Sound Good?
And yes, it all comes wrapped in tissue and packaged in a pizza-style box. The RRP is in excess of £15 & will be available at the bargain price of just £10.

One is already on way to Zoe, who will be joining us as Guest Designer for August and I'm already planning kits for the next few months. We have some great products filling these li'l boxes of loveliness ... many of which are not available in the webstore! Don't forget we have the current search for September's Guest Designer too ... you only have until Thursday to get your entries to me!

We are expecting these to sell out very quickly, so if you would like to pre-order one ... just drop me an e-mail & you could be among the first to have your kit dispatched on Friday (you will be sent a paypal invoice & we will dispatch upon receipt of payment). Exciting stuff huh?
We are also considering a subscription service (with all the freebies & special extras that should accompany such a deal & reward your loyalty to us) for future kits, page & project kits ... so many plans!

And the first of the bi-monthly DVDs! FALL in love with the October personal shopper kit!!

Hi folks! Back again to show you some more of what the October Personal Shopper Kit has to offer!! This next LO I created using the Fall collection of papers and embellishments in the kit. For those of you really observant - you might notice that this isnt really a 'Fall' picture - there aren't any leaves left on the trees to fall!! But I thought these papers went perfectly with my picture. Check out the Monday's Metal self-adhesive squares in the kit - these really are gorgeous, and perfect for adding a bit of dimension and a distressed look to your pages - this complements the papers perfectly! Absolutely everything you see on this page is available in the kit, from the cute leafy brads and photo turns, to the printed ribbons!!

I'm quite new to card making really - this kit has given me loads of inspiration though! The card I made, again using the Fall collection of papers, is a gatefold card. There was more than enough stuff left over to make this card (and probably one or two others!!) and a generous amount of embellishments, I especially love these fab Metal squares, they're a really nice touch, and could be used for any crafting project.

Friendships and flowers

Hey guys!! These are just a couple of things I have made with the gorgeous Personal Shopper Kit for October. There is loads in this kit, so this really is a sneak preview!! These two projects are both made using the Friendships collection of papers/card. What I love about this kit is that the guess work is done for you! The colours co-ordinate together perfectly, and it's packed with some really neat embellishments - huge self-adhesive baubles by Heidi Swapp, and printed flowers and tags for you to cut out and use on your cards, layouts, ATC's - or anything really! This kit could definitely brighten up any crafty project! I'm a massive fan of journalling - the kit comes with these cute 'library look' cards which are perfect for adding your precious memories and thoughts. And I found these Round Pastel

Sneaky Peeky!!

& here it is as promised a little sneaky peek of the HOTP Personal Shopper Kits for Cardmakers and Scrapbookers (so that's 2 sneaky peeks really!) The first is a gorgeous little close up of one of the photo mats in the 'Grandma's Garden' double layout designed by Paris Dukes. This uses the 'seasons' set of papers & tag lines ID bracelet from Karen Foster - all of which are in the August kit - and that's all the clues you are getting!! July's kit completely sold out within a couple of weeks (including the display kit in the window LOL), so if you don't want to miss out you might like to consider a subscription. The cardmaker's kit contains everything you need to make this yummy card, designed by LeNae Gerig, along with 9 others (& there's tons of stuff left over to make loads of extra one!)
