Another LO

I thought I would post a pic of another LO I did using the HOTP kit (it really is this time honest)

This was really simple as all of the detail is already on the paper for you and all you need are some pics that go - I used some scraps I had leftover to make photo corners!! I thought that with all the pink in my girls tops they went perfectly! This was a day out at a fab little farm that let you handle really new baby chicks and rabbits - we had a brill day!

Hope you like it :)

Give us a Kiss!!!!

I have just added a new layout that I made over the weekend with the HOTP Personal Shopper kit. I have already said it but I am really impressed with the amount you get in these kits - especially as we only got a 1/3rd of a kit with our DT pack.
Edited by The Guv, 00.31 . LOL Lou Lou - that's not Personal Shopper - it's the Masculine Sarapapers - I'd recognise them anywhere.

Cool In The Pool

I used the March HOTP kit (i cannot believe how much this kit made up - still have one whole sheet of patterned paper and loads of scraps to have a play with)
I used the sheet that had the printed section on it and turned it so that it was on the right had side of the page. I used the beige paper to mat the photo on and then tore it all round the edges to leave the white core of the paper showing. I then punched out loads of flowers with a jumbo flower punch and layered them up on foam pads all round the photo. I cut my title from some left over pink card and thats it really.

I also made the "its your day" card from the scraps left over from this kit.
Edited by the Guv'nor to say: and each of our DT only received one third of the March Personal Shopper Kit - so you can make all their PS projects from a single kit. Find out more about the kits here.

Demi's Ballet Binder

I knew straight away when I saw this cute little binder I wanted to make it into a timetable folder/book for Demi (my daughter) to keep tabs on her dancing timetable and any bits shes given at dancing. She attends all day Saturday on her own and often I find screwed up letters meant for me and sheets with songs on to learn all at the bottom of her dancing bag! I thought if she had a little binder she could keep them all in one place. I am also going to cut some plain white cardstock to add some pages to it so that she can write down anything she needs to remember and I can take them out and replace them as they are not needed any more!

I used the HOTP papers from the March kit to cover the binder as I wanted it to be pretty and bright. The letters were cut from scraps of the same papers I had left over from another layout I havnt uploaded yet. For the first lot of inside pages I used the 6x 6 papers from the English scrapbook Company as they were a perfect size for the binder. For the dividers I used some more of the same paper and just tore it to leave a rough edge and stuck it onto the divider. I need to add some more dividers so that she will have one for every lesson.

Its the first Sarabinder that I have attempted and I am sure it wont be the last - they are really cute and can be used for so many things! I think I might get myself another one and make it into a little scrapping file so that I can keep it in my bag so that when I get an idea I can jot it down. I will also be able to use the little envelopes to keep any scraps I want to keep!

Lou Lou is having some technical issues so I'm going to post on her behalf until they are resolved! First up is this adorable mini album, which is a great way of using the CD cases from all those CDs that quite often come free with magazines. Watch this space and I'm sure there will be a couple of ideas for using the CDs too!

Lou Lou has used the Masculine Sarapapers and matching Embellish-Abilities, along with some plain cardstock for the pages. The little album fits snugly into the case, which will either protect it on your travels or make it easy to store on a shelf. As you can see from the pics, it will stand so you could display it on top of the TV LOL. Lou Lou has not added photographs as yet - but if we ask her nicely, perhaps she'll post some more pics when she has!

I'm also having a few technical issues, which is why these photos are all over the place LOL. It seems that they just don't want to go where I want them. But I guess you'd rather see them than not so I'm going to give up trying to make it look pretty and just post the thing!

3rd Louise checking in!!!

Hi I thought I better get on here and post too!!

Im Louise (obviously) and I live in Sidcup in Kent with my two daughters Demi (10) and Tiffani (4). They are the main reason I started scrapping. I found it in a card making mag in October 2004 and in November I attended my first evening at a scrapping club and was totally hooked. I think I love the buying of stash just as much as using it - ok more infact!! :) As well as finding a really great hobby I have made some really great friends through scrapping too!

I am thrilled to be picked to be on CTYD Design Team and cannot wait to get started.

Thats it for now - be back soon :)

Louise
