Slightly Different Cards

Today I'm showing you a different style of card called a "kick stand" card using the gorgeous Creative Imaginations papers.

This first one is a "girly" card with a gardening theme. The front of the card has been covered with one side of the Renae's House paper, as has the scallop. The inside of the card has been covered with the other side of the paper as they are double sided papers. I added a bow to the top half of the card using the lovely blue spotty ribbon. On the scallop I added the gardening charms and to tie it all together I again used the blue ribbon. The second photo shows how the card stands.

The theme for the second card is more masculine and is "travel". Again I made a kick stand card. I covered the front of the card with Bo Bunny Homespun Holidays paper. I added ribbon to the top of the card and also to the rectangle standing piece of the card.
I then attached the travel charms with some more ribbon and some tiny brads.
The inside of the card was made using the Bo Bunny Jack Frost papers.

Just a bit of a variation to the normal style of cards. :-)
