I made the invitations from the October 2006 HOTP scrapbooking kit. I know the other DT members have said it before but there is absolutely loads and loads in the kit. What I really like is the idea sheet that's included. Even if you don't use the suggestions in the sheet it really does spark your imagination. I have made six different things with the kit and I still have tons left to play with.
For the Halloween party invitation I made a gatefold card and cut the 'party' letters from two different patterned papers.. I really like the checked paper so I made the envelope using that! I cut some of the pumpkin images from a 12x12 sheet of paper and stuck them on. I used the lovely gingham ribbon to secure the card.
For the inside I used my computer for the wording. I printed it onto the remains of a 12x12 sheet of paper. I had cut quite a few bits from it so I trimmed the uneven edges off and it went through the computer fine! I cut the pumpkin and 'boo' images from the 12x12 sheet I used before. I'm really pleased with them and I hope you like them too. I'll have to arrange a party to use them! Everything I used to make the invitation came from the kit and be found here
