Fond Memories

I've been meaning to create a page of my Nanna ever since I started scrapbooking, but it never seemed to be the right time, or I never had the right papers, but when I opened my kit and saw these papers I just knew they were going to be THE page, I guess like a lot of things in life it will happen when its the time is right, so thankyou so much Guv and that's enough of the heavy stuff!
The photos are blurred as I took three of them when I was about 9, I'm wearing a really dodgy dress, and they all quite dark but they picture her just how I remember her and that's all that matters.
The papers are all from the Vintage Sarapapers collection and there was such a great range of complementing papers in this set! For the RHS I double mounted the photos, and inked all the edges in chesnut roan, and hand-cut the title, and placed the small flower tag over the corner of one of the pictures.
On the LHS I stuck the mounted photos onto a folded piece of paper, popped 2 pages inside and secured them with brads, effectively giving me two mini-books and somewhere to journal my memories and thoughts. The circle slide mount was covered with some of the matching papers and I used it to frame the second, round flower tag. I handcut the big flower from some cardstock and layered it up to give a chipboard effect and then covered it, and fastened it on using a Really Big Brad, and rub-on and finally I attached some pieces of HOTP ribbon from the Icy Rainbow range.
